At the Israel pavilion, visitors immersed themselves in diverse experiences, from the sacred sites of Jerusalem to the lively nightlife of Tel Aviv. With a strategic plan to establish itself as a prime leisure destination while boosting pilgrimage travel, the Israel Ministry of Tourism (IMOT) painted a vivid picture of adventures. These included trekking through the sun-drenched dunes of the Negev Desert, exploring the lush oases of Ein Gedi and Timna Park, and marveling at the wonders of the Dead Sea. Israel also highlighted its advanced facilities, hospitality infrastructure, and state-of-the-art venues, reinforcing its position in the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) segment.

Israel’s participation at the India International Travel Mart (IITM) in Bengaluru underscored its dedication to the Indian market. As the Feature Country at the event organized by Sphere Media from July 26th to 28th, 2024, IMOT showcased the rich and varied tourism experiences available in Israel. Engaging with travel trade partners, media representatives, and prospective travelers, IMOT reaffirmed its invitation to adventurers, pilgrims, and travelers to explore this fascinating country. Amid positive sentiments, Israel demonstrated its commitment to strengthening ties with India and expanding its tourism footprint.

Sphere Media also held a post-event award show on 28th July 2024, where the Israel Ministry
of Tourism was bestowed with the award for “Bespoke Cultural Experience Product”, which
was received by Amruta Bangera, Director of Marketing, Israel Ministry of Tourism,
