Himachal Pradesh’s Bhohat Kasol to be Developed into Tourism Hub, Says Official

An action plan is underway to transform Bhohat Kasol in Himachal Pradesh’s Bilaspur district into a comprehensive tourist destination, officials announced on Saturday.

A team of administrative officials has conducted an inspection of the area near Kol Dam. Deputy Commissioner of Bilaspur district, Abid Hussain Sadiq, highlighted the potential for year-round tourism due to the consistent water level in Kol Dam.

“Once developed into a tourism hub, tourists will have the chance to enjoy over 20 adventure activities,” Sadiq stated. He emphasized that a detailed action plan is being formulated to develop Bhohat Kasol as a comprehensive tourist destination. The area will be transformed into a rural tourist hotspot where urban visitors can experience the rural lifestyle.

Sadiq added that all possible tourism opportunities in the area would be explored to maximize its potential. “Bhohat Kasol will be developed as a comprehensive tourist destination,” he reiterated, noting the importance of leveraging the area’s natural beauty and resources to attract visitors.
