Minor Hotels proudly announces the appointment of Judd Rabbidge as the new General Manager of Avani+ Fares Maldives Resort, starting in July 2024. Rabbidge will lead this high-end lifestyle resort in the Baa Atoll, bringing his dedication to exceptional guest experiences and strategic expertise to achieve outstanding results.

An Australian by nationality, Rabbidge steps into his first General Manager role with extensive industry experience. Previously, he served as Hotel Manager at W Sydney, where he successfully managed the pre-opening phase of the world’s largest W Hotel, a significant landmark in Sydney. Between 2018 and 2022, Rabbidge was the Director of Sales and Marketing at W Bali – Seminyak, elevating the resort to a premier luxury destination. His career also includes managing operations at two other Marriott properties in the region, where he excelled in guest satisfaction and profitability. Before these roles, Rabbidge held senior management positions with Mantra Group, a prominent Australian accommodation provider.

Rabbidge earned a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Hospitality, Tourism, and Business Management from the Pacific International Hotel Management School in New Plymouth, New Zealand.
