Pocamarket is now a special tourism support site by KOCCA, enhancing K-POP tourism and boosting South Korea’s content startups.
Pocamarket has been officially recognized as a special tourism support site by the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA), a governmental body in South Korea. This designation aims to enrich the experiences of international tourists interested in K-POP content and foster collaborative growth among South Korea’s content startups.
In 2023, South Korea welcomed around 2 million global fans eager to immerse themselves in K-POP culture, according to data from the Korea Tourism Organization. Earlier this year, Pocamarket organized an offline pop-up event showcasing K-POP photocards, drawing numerous foreign visitors and concluding the event on a high note.
A representative from Pocamarket stated, “Being selected by KOCCA as a representative K-POP tourism spot for South Korea, we will strive to provide a variety of content and experiences for K-POP fans visiting the country.”
POCA SPOT, a new venture by Pocamarket, will be open to the public starting July in Hongdae, Seoul.
