SJM unveils “SAMmer Holiday” and “Tourism+” highlights at the Experience Macao Malaysia Roadshow, showcasing unique attractions and innovative tourism initiatives.

To demonstrate its unwavering support for the Macao Government Tourism Office’s (MGTO) tourism initiatives, SJM Resorts, S.A. (SJM) took an active role in the “Macao Tourism + MICE Product Updates Seminar & Travel Mart” on July 4. During this event, SJM engaged extensively with local industry leaders to pave the way for future partnerships. From July 5 to 8, SJM took a leading role in the “Experience Macao Malaysia Roadshow,” held at the Blue Concourse, Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall in Kuala Lumpur. At this roadshow, SJM showcased Macao’s latest “Tourism+” attractions to Malaysian travel professionals, residents, and tourists. The event highlighted the “Embracing the SAMmer Holiday @ SJM Resorts” promotion, offering a diverse array of gourmet dining, educational entertainment, and luxurious resort experiences.

The roadshow’s opening ceremony featured prominent guests, including Mr. Cheng Wai Tong, Deputy Director of the Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO), Mr. Manoharan Periasamy, Director General of Tourism Malaysia, and Mr. Nigel Wong Chun Teim, President of the Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA), Ms. Cynthia Tan, Deputy President of the Malaysian Chinese Tourism Association (MCTA), Mr. Vic Lam, Head of the Division of Culture, Tourism, MICE, Trade, and Commerce at the Economic Development Bureau of the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin, and Ms. Karen Lee, Assistant Vice President of Destination Marketing, Brand Development & Marketing at SJM. After the ceremony, the guests toured SJM’s booth, which showcased elements of Sino-Portuguese culture, and enjoyed taking photos with the SJM team and the mascot “Sam the Rooster.”

As the summer travel season approached, SJM utilized the roadshow to showcase the exclusive seasonal offerings at its Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macao and hotels to the Malaysian audience. These offerings included specially curated summer menus at its top-tier restaurants, the launch of “AI Wonderland – A Fun STEM Odyssey” coding classes for kids at the Grand Lisboa Palace, indulgent summer treatments at premium spas, exclusive discounts on international skincare products, and special perks during the summer promotional event at the Grand Lisboa Palace shopping mall. Many Malaysian residents and tourists showed great interest in the “Joyous Family Package” and the “Palazzo Versace Macao Experience Package” at Grand Lisboa Palace. Numerous attendees also signed up for the SJM Supreme Card membership, enjoying immediate welcome perks and exclusive benefits while immersing themselves in the rich summer offerings and diverse attractions of Macao’s “Tourism+” experiences.
