Promotions are also being amplified in the Mainland’s 10 new Individual Visit Scheme cities and the five-hour Express Rail Link circle to attract first-time visitors. In cities like Shanghai, HKTB is enhancing visibility with thematic decor on sightseeing buses.
South Korea: Outdoor Adventures with “Korean Oppas”

The video will be showcased on HKTB’s official website, social media platforms, and selected metro stations in Seoul. Additionally, vibrant murals of Hong Kong in Seongsu Dong aim to pique local interest among young South Koreans.
Japan: Shopping and Dining with Popular YouTubers
HKTB has invited two popular Japanese travel YouTubers to showcase Hong Kong’s “Summer Triple Rewards” and the exciting “100% DORAEMON & FRIENDS” exhibition. The YouTubers will share their experiences on social media, highlighting the best of Hong Kong’s shopping and dining scenes.
Southeast Asia: Media Familiarisation Trip for Hidden Gems

More than 30 media representatives from Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, and the Philippines will visit sites like Lai Chi Wo, Ping Chau, Mui Wo, and Tsz Shan Monastery. Popular influencers will also share their experiences online, promoting Hong Kong’s summer attractions and activities.
Dedicated Event Page for “100% DORAEMON & FRIENDS”
HKTB has launched a dedicated event page on DiscoverHongKong.com to help visitors plan their trip to the “100% DORAEMON & FRIENDS” exhibition. The page provides a guide to all related activities, including the “Anywhere Door” installations at 10 locations across Kowloon and Hong Kong Island, and tips on collecting free souvenirs. Details about the ticketed exhibition area and the Doraemon-themed drone show, tentatively set for July 20, will also be available on the page.
Spot the “Anywhere Door” in Town
From today until August 8, HKTB, in collaboration with creative brand AllRightsReserved, is bringing the “Anywhere Door” installations to 10 popular locations around Kowloon and Hong Kong Island. Each 2-meter-tall door showcases a unique city landmark, inviting visitors to explore, take photos, and redeem a free pin or premium gift.
Doraemon-themed Drone Show Returns
Following the success of the May drone show, AllRightsReserved plans to host another Doraemon-themed drone show at the Avenue of Stars, Tsim Sha Tsui, on July 20. Featuring 1,000 drones, the show will depict classic characters and scenes from the beloved Doraemon series. Due to the unpredictable weather in July, the public and visitors are advised to check the organiser’s official website and social media for updates.
