WTM Latin America 2024 emerges as a record breaking event with a notable increase in exhibitior numbers.

The B2B event took place at Sao Paulo to promote the regional travel and tourism industry.

It also exceeded 27 thousand visitors- a number that is within the organizer’s expectations.

The Expo Centre Norte in Sao Paulo hosted WTM Latin America 2024 between April 15 and 17.

There has been 27,173 unique visitors during the three days of one of the biggest B2B event of the travel industry. This means that there is an increase in 3 percent in comparison to that in 2023.

Bianca Pizzolito, Director of WTM Latin America said that teh event’s quality index increased by 20% in comparison with that in 2023.

The number of exhibitors also increased from 623 last year to 797 this year.

Exhibiting brands: from 623 to 797, increase of 28%

Visitors: from 26,454 to 27,153 increase of 3%

Hosted Buyers: from 55 to 75, increase of 36%

Buyers club: from 1,308 to 1,664 increase of 27%

Travel agents: from 4,783 to 5,614 increase of 17%

Exhibition area: from 6,149 m2 to 7,393 m2 increase of 20%

Connect Me: from 6,358 to 6,903 increase 9%
