First Wonderful Indonesia Co-Branding Forum in 2024 to Feature 76 Collaborative partners

The Ministry of Tourism & Creative Economy/Creative Economy Agency of Indonesia, under the guidance of the Deputy for Marketing, is hosting the annual Wonderful Indonesia Co-Branding Forum (WICF). Since its inception in 2017, WICF has aimed to streamline collaborative efforts and strategic alignments between the Ministry and its co-branding partners, enhancing the promotion of the Wonderful Indonesia brand.

As a dynamic platform, WICF encourages productive exchanges between government officials and stakeholders in the tourism and creative economy sectors. This initiative underscores the commitment of the Ministry’s Deputy for Marketing to develop a refined marketing strategy, boost promotional activities, and foster collaborative engagements. The forum’s objectives include:

Increasing Partner Engagement: Strengthening relationships with co-branding partners to create distinctive tourism and creative economy experiences.

Enhancing Marketing Programs: Refining marketing efforts to support sustainable development within these sectors.

Identifying New Collaboration Opportunities: Initiating discussions to uncover new avenues for cooperation that benefit all parties.

The forum took place at the Ashley Hotel Jakarta, drawing notable attendees like Mrs. Ni Made Ayu Marthini, Deputy for Marketing, and Mr. Yohanes De Brito Titus Haridjati, Director of Marketing Communications. It brought together key personnel from various levels of the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy and numerous co-branding partners, now totaling 129 across diverse industries.

“Of course, we want sustainable partnership with our co-branding Wonderful Indonesia, hand-in-hand manifesting green economy, aligned with our policy”,Marketing Deputy, Ni Made Ayu Marthini reaffirming significant concept advocating for green and sustainable tourism.

The overarching aim is to gain broad acceptance and implementation of these collaborative strategies by all involved in the tourism and creative economy sectors. The strategic vision includes:

Promoting environmental stewardship and natural resource conservation.

Enhancing local economies through support for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

Sustaining Indonesia’s cultural diversity.

Offering immersive tourism experiences that embody the collaborative spirit of Indonesia Incorporated.

This year’s forum focuses on developing sustainable partnership-driven programs, ultimately enhancing Indonesia’s global competitiveness in tourism and the creative economy.
