The Southeast Asian Nations coalition is excited to unveil their latest venture into digital spaces with the introduction of “ImaginASEAN,” a new metaverse experience crafted in partnership with Cosmow, a distinguished developer of metaverse games. This launch not only commemorates ASEAN Day but also represents the group’s initial steps into the metaverse, underscoring their commitment to digital advancement.

Scheduled for global release on World Tourism Day, September 27th, “ImaginASEAN” aims to enhance awareness of Southeast Asia’s rich cultural landscapes and key tourist spots through an engaging Roblox platform. The game provides an interactive avenue for players to explore the region’s heritage and promises an added incentive: the chance to win a journey for two across any two ASEAN countries.

This initiative continues ASEAN’s collaboration with Agoda, a leading travel platform in Southeast Asia, and AirAsia, the region’s top airline, for a second consecutive year, allowing players to potentially transform their virtual discoveries into real-world adventures.

Cultural Wardrobe: The game introduces virtual outfits inspired by Southeast Asian themes, enabling players to dress their avatars in traditional attire from each ASEAN Member State, thus fostering and honoring the region’s cultural diversity.

Scavenger Hunt: Gamers can participate in an exciting scavenger hunt, discovering intriguing facts about ASEAN and its rich cultural legacy through renowned landmarks and picturesque sites across Southeast Asia.

Unique Prizes: Successfully locating hidden items grants players exclusive in-game prizes and virtual goods.
