Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC/Visit Maldives), in collaboration with the National Hotel and Guesthouse Association of Maldives (NHGAM), is excited to announce the reopening of participation for the highly anticipated 11th Asian Tourism Fair (ATF) 2024. The event will take place in Dhaka, Bangladesh, from September 19th to 21st, 2024, at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB).
ATF serves as a premier platform for Pan-Asian tourism collaboration, bringing together a diverse range of stakeholders, including adventure tourism companies, airlines, amusement parks, hotels, and national tourism organizations. The reopening of participation aims to accommodate a broader audience interested in showcasing their offerings at this prestigious event.
This year’s ATF coincides with World Tourism Day, adding even more excitement and prestige. Beyond the core tourism trade exhibition, B2B sessions, and B2C opportunities, ATF 2024 will feature a variety of side events. Attendees can look forward to insightful seminars, workshops, skill development conventions, a vibrant cultural program, and a photo exhibition. For those interested in responsible tourism, a dedicated Community-Based Tourism (CBT) Mart will showcase sustainable travel options. This diverse program ensures something for everyone.
MMPRC plans to actively engage in these various sideline activities to showcase the multifaceted Maldivian tourism industry. Visit Maldives’ participation in ATF for the first time underscores our commitment to strengthening our presence in Asian markets and nurturing closer ties with tourism industry stakeholders. Our goal is to present a comprehensive picture of the Maldivian tourism experience to the Asian travel trade and beyond. Previous editions of ATF have brought together representatives from Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Bhutan, and many other countries, highlighting the event’s regional significance.
Those interested in participating in this event with Visit Maldives can complete the application process via the Members Portal (members.visitmaldives.com) before 1500 hours on Thursday, July 25th, 2024. Co-exhibitor registration will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and is limited to available slots.
